The first Mexican “Bolillo” Machine

A tradition that brought flavor to many generations of the past century. A beginning filled with flavors and love for baking, a legacy that comes directly from the family of our founders.
The family history of Bimbo® founders dates back to a long tradition of bakers. Already in 1918, we find that Don Juan Servitje, the father of Lorenzo and Roberto Servitje, patented the first Mexican bolillo machine that he called: “Higiénica Múltiple Póo”. José Jorba and Jaime Palomas Sendra collaborated in that endeavor with Don. Juan, who was also founder of “El Molino” bakery.
